Medium height deep rooted very productive palatable perennial legume. Drought resistant. Seed requires inoculation with nitrogen-fixing bacteria. Generally lives 3-12 years depending on weather and management. 3' high. Due to autoxicity alfalfa seed will not grow well into existing stand. Seeding rate is 18-20# per acre.
