Perennial ryegrass is a bunchgrass with shiny, dark green smooth leaves. Height 2-3' tall if not mowed. 25 to 35 lbs. per acre.  Pasture, hay, and silage are the most common uses, but also for lawn establishment.  Natural reseeding is common.
