It can be applied in spring and fall for season-long crabgrass control.  It also controls bluegrass, spurge, and witchgrass and can be used on Fescue and other common turf grasses.  amount to apply is based on length of weed control desired. Up to 8 months of control. This is the active ingredient found in Barricade.
